The exceptional KYB® front fork is designed to offer excellent response,road feel and chassis stability. Individual adjusters on the right and left fork tubes offer a full range of adjustability including preload, high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments for precise damping control.

The race-bred M1-style cowling is fitted with LED headlights that project a sharp and menacing look. The aggressive face of the R1 also features compact position lights that reinforce the bike's street presence and underline its pure race-bred DNA and sophisticated design.

By using data from a wide range of sensors, the R1’s Launch Control System (LCS) gives you a high level of control during racing starts. For the fastest and most aggressive launches, LCS1 mode is programmed to activate at 9,000 rpm with a throttle opening of 41 degrees.
